DreamHack — Xbox
Event filmmaking at festival scale
DreamHack is one of the largest gaming festivals in the world, and Xbox's presence there needed a film that could carry that scale. This event film compresses days of festival energy into a piece that moves like the event feels: crowds, screens, reactions, and the small human moments between rounds.
Shooting an event of this size is a logistics problem as much as a creative one. Coverage was planned around the festival's own peaks — opening, tournaments, meet-and-greets — with a run-and-gun rig fast enough to chase moments and a shot list disciplined enough to guarantee the brand deliverables.
The result works as an aftermovie for the audience and as proof-of-presence content for the brand — two deliverables from one edit. NARU directs event films and aftermovies for festivals, brand activations and corporate events across Sweden and Scandinavia, from Malmö and Copenhagen to wherever the event happens.
